Could This Be The House For Us?

Well, the other three houses are now out of the picture.  One is just too much work.  The next, too much cost in replacing carpet, etc.  The final one, the one I liked, has a fantastic exterior -- the koi pond and the jacuzzi along with everything else -- but the interior isn't that special.  Pity.

However, I think I found a house that could be the one for us!  It's not that big, which frustrates me a little, but it's a one story rancher, all brick, with virtually all hardwood floors, decent sized bedrooms (three beds, two baths), a lovely kitchen with new everything, a den with a gas fireplace, a porch, a laundry room that's fairly spacious, and a beautifully redone attached two car garage.  It's got a huge front lawn and sits in a cul de sac in a nice neighborhood.  Its walls are neutral colored and it's well lit.  Here are some pics:

The front of the house.  Lawn.  Trees.  Nice area.

Overlook Kitchen

Everything in this house, including the entire kitchen, has been totally redone!

Here's the den's gas fireplace.  Note the berber carpet, the only carpet in the house.

All in all, not too shabby.  It's not perfect, but it does fit most of our preferences.  Everyone loved it, although it's still smaller than I would prefer.  It's also had over $81,000 in improvements (!!!), so it's priced a little higher than we would prefer.  Still, if we offer something in our range, they might take it and so, here's hoping, eh?  Cheers!

It's lovely! You don't have anything to lose by offering them something... they can only say yes or no. Good luck.

The interior shots look great, open, cheerful, clean and couldn't see anything needing repair or replacing.  Being at the end of a cul-de-sac is definately the best deal, from one who lives on one, but anywhere on one keeps the neighborhood smaller and quieter.  Usually gives you a little more yard space and privacy.

Hope this one works out for you guys.
